"The Tales of the Old Tram" is a play for children and youth born out of the desire to emphasize the significance of various cultures that have left their mark on the development of the city of Sarajevo, as well as the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina.
From the Middle Ages to the present day, Sarajevo has been a meeting place for artistic groups, traveling actors, wrestlers, acrobats, singers, dancers, musicians, and entertainers. This fact served as a starting point in creating this multimedia performance.
The structure consists of four stories, historically set in four different periods, with scenographic and costume solutions that take the audience on a virtual journey through space and time. Four actors welcome the audience with song and clowning, seat them in their places, and begin the journey on the old, first electric tram through Sarajevo.
"The Tales of the Old Tram" was produced in cooperation with the Puppetry Studio Sarajevo.
